What to Expect

African Investments hosts a regular series of investor trips into key regions across the African continent. Our meetings are interactive and investor-focused and our presenters include companies with compelling investment opportunities in the infrastructure, power and renewable energy, mining, oil & gas and agribusiness sectors.  Presentations are interspersed with commentary from key government representatives, local private sector agencies and local financial sector experts to provide insights into investment considerations which include the fiscal and legal frameworks in each jurisdiction.

The format of each investor event is usually a full day of formal presentations, discussions and networking opportunities followed by a day or two of site visits to give selected companies the opportunity to further showcase their projects and to give investors on-ground insight into the ease of doing business in each country.

The African Investments team is part of the team that hosts the annual AFSIC event, Europe’s largest event for African investment (www.afsic.net) and together we are strongly focused on developing into one of the major conduits for investment into the continent.
