Cuthbert Malindi is a continental award-winning entrepreneur, certified NLP Life and business coach as well as experienced private equity and venture capital practitioner having been involved in the setting up and management of funds in various countries in Southern Africa. He has a strong track record of success of over 20 years, across the full spectrum of PE/VC from origination to exits and was Vice President of a $100m US backed regional VC Fund based in Johannesburg for 6 years, Chief Investment officer of a $30m Fund in Botswana and is currently, the chair of the Investment committee of a $10m Fund in Namibia as well as member of the Investment committee of an SME Fund in South Africa.
Cuthbert is a chartered accountant (FCCA & ICAEW) and Chartered Financial Analyst (ASIP/CFA), having trained and worked for KPMG, Leeds and London office and Deloitte, Johannesburg. He holds a B.Eng. (Hons), in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
Mr. Malindi is passionate about entrepreneurship and SMEs and is the founder and co-owner of PostDotNet in its current form as well as 3@1 Zambia. PostDotNet is one of the leading international and local remittances businesses with over 20 retail outlets nationally, in all the major shopping Malls in Zambia. 3@1 is a business services franchise newly established in Zambia. Cuthbert has held non- executive director positions in various companies as well as investment committees of Funds in Southern and East Africa over a period of 20 years, covering a diverse range of industries.
