Emmanuel is the Chief Executive Officer of CEC Africa, a pan African power infrastructure developer and manager. CEC Africa currently has a presence in the Nigerian power generation and distribution sectors and the Sierra Leonean generation sector.
Emmanuel has over twenty-five years of service in the energy sector, having spent most of his early professional years in the operations and maintenance area. His major areas of interest are in asset management and infrastructure development. He developed businesses in renewable energy, having been the founding director of CEC Renewables which has projects in biodiesel production, biomass and solar based power generation in Zambia.
For the past decade, he has concentrated on project development and investment management with a focus on West Africa power infrastructure.
Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia. He was Chairman of the Engineers’ Registration Board in Zambia (2007 -2009) and a Vice President of the Engineering Institution Zambia (2010 – 2012). He is also a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honours (BEng Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in the UK; a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Maintenance Management from the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany and a Master of Business Administration (MBA)degree from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.
